SNS Support Group Session - Aberdeen, 29th March

This is a one day seminar for Managers and Advisers responsible for Scottish National Standards within their organisations. The seminar will help individuals who will be preparing their organisations to apply for accreditation to gain an overall understanding of the audit self-assessment and peer review process and associated evidence requirements. There will also be an opportunity to provide feedback as to what support organisations think they might need in the future to assist them in preparing to make their first application. Due to high demand, places are limited to member organisations and restricted to a maximum of 2 per organisation.

Course Description

The seminar will enable participants to:

  • Understand the peer review process and what's required to submit case files
  • Understand the audit self-assessment process, including the evidence requirements
  • Start to build a support network, drawing on the experience of their peers

The event is scheduled to run from 10am to 2pm and the agenda can be found here.  Information and guidance on Scottish National Standards can be found on the Scottish Legal Aid Board (SLAB)'s website.

Lunch will be provided on the day so please make sure you let us know of any dietary requirements when applying online.
